GDPR Information Clause

 

We would like to inform you that your personal data (first and last name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and other necessary data) will be processed in order to provide free legal assistance and for archiving purposes, by the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights with its registered office in Warsaw, ul. Wiejska 16, 00-490 Warsaw, which is the controller of personal data. The controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer who supervises the correctness of data processing. He/she may be contacted by sending a letter by traditional mail to the Foundation’s address or by e-mail [email protected].

The basis for the processing of personal data is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

Providing your data is voluntary, but necessary. The consequence of your failure to provide data will be the failure to provide legal assistance.

You have the right to access the data, to require us to rectify them, to erase them or to restrict their processing. You have the right to object to the processing of the data that have been made available to us. You have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing by submitting a written declaration.

If you believe that we process the data incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body of the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

Your personal data may be transferred to third parties on the basis of generally applicable provisions of law or on the basis of agreements concluded by the Foundation. Your data will be processed no longer than it is necessary to provide legal assistance, and after that time they may be processed for as long as you can sue us.
